“Dare to live the life you have dreamed for yourself... Go forward and make your dreams come true.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Our current issue, the Dreamers and Displaced, is a collection of works from artists across the globe who join with a spirit of cultural unity, of erasing the divides that exist between lands, and creating a space of universal belonging...Through these works, artists address these themes with a poetic sense of unity, of rising above misconceptions that divide humanity, of sharing the word that wisdom and love are possible—and it is through art that we can make this happen.
Poets and Dreamers was created in 2001, after executive editor-in-chief Anne Marie returned from a transformative journey through the Mediterranean. What began as a series of literary salons, writing workshops, and spoken word performances expanded into a worldwide circle of literary & fine artists who believe that words, art, and music act as a transcendent bridge, and allow us to create the lives we have imagined.
Poets and Dreamers Press and the Poets and Dreamers Journal of Literary & Fine Arts exist as opportunities for authors and artists to actualize themselves and their works through the collaboration and circulation of literary and fine arts.
